Coordinated Team

fast group coordination

What It Is

Coordinated Team is open-source software that enables teams to coordinate around reciprocal commitments.

Reciprocal Commitments

Reciprocal commitments are commitments that are conditional on a critical mass of participants all making the same commitment.
This solves a common coordination problem where group efforts often fail because everyone is waiting for everyone else to show willingness to participate first.
Reciprocal commitments allow people to signal their willingness to participate without risk. This ensures that critical mass is reached first, and only then is coordinated action initiated.

How It Works

Coordinated Team is based on a 3 step process:
1. Start a commitment.
2. Invite others to participate.
3. When critical mass is reached, initiate coordinated action.

Coordinated and Decisive

Coordinated Team and Decisive Team are both part of the same software suite created by Ibis Coordination.
